Despite a strong effort from the Swannies, the Beachside Sharks were able to pull away and coast to a victory for round 2 of '09.

Team president, Andy Lindsey "Country", had a strong game out of the middle handling most of the ruck duties. It was also great to see newcomer, Andrew Forgham, play well in his first ever footy game.

Round 3 will be played in the Inland Empire this Sunday. Field details to be provided soon. Game 1- Sharks & Raiders 11am. Game 2- Jets & Swans- 12:30pm.
